This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Propel growth through white-space selling, acquiring new accounts, targeted competitive conversions, and expanding existing accounts in the designated region.
• Lead, mentor, develop, recruit, onboard, and retain a high-performing sales team for the region.
• Establish performance benchmarks, activity standards, pipeline requirements, accountability practices, and measurable KPIs.
• Conduct field co-travels, coaching sessions, performance evaluations, and development discussions.
• Foster a performance-driven regional culture that emphasizes urgency, accountability, prospecting, and growth.
• Create and implement regional territory activation plans and strategies to increase share of wallet.
• Analyze market potential, account opportunities, competitive share, pipeline health, and overall territory performance.
• Drive prospecting efforts, cold-calling initiatives, account targeting, follow-up routines, and conversion strategies.
• Monitor CRM activity, pipeline quality, sales funnel progression, win/loss trends, and KPI performance.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, education, product, customer service, merchandising, distribution, and other internal teams.
• Develop a regional clinical education strategy and support regional events, customer programs, and KOL engagement.
• Cultivate relationships with target customers, key practices, and regional opinion leaders.
• Engage in high-value opportunities, competitive displacement efforts, and new account conversions.
• Conduct business reviews and customer meetings.
• Address field execution obstacles and escalate customer or operational issues as necessary.
• Oversee regional communications, approvals, reporting, administrative tasks, and expense budgets.
• Maintain discipline in CRM usage, forecasting, pipeline reporting, and KPI tracking.
• Prepare and deliver business updates, sales presentations, and performance discussions.
• Professionally manage customer complaints and field escalations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of relevant work experience, or a master’s degree with 4 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales management or frontline sales leadership experience is preferred.
• Proven history of leading sales teams to meet growth targets, activity expectations, pipeline generation, and revenue performance.
• Preferred experience in white-space selling, new market development, competitive conversion, or high-activity prospecting environments.
• Experience in dental, healthcare, medical device, or related B2B sales is preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to resolve conflicts, coach performance, and make sound business decisions in a fast-paced field setting.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Willingness and ability to travel 50% or more.
• Resides within the assigned area, possessing a strong understanding of local market dynamics, customer segments, and competitive landscape.
• Strong frontline leadership, coaching, mentoring, recruiting, and performance management skills.
• Ability to cultivate a hunter-oriented sales culture and reinforce behaviors related to prospecting, cold calling, pipeline discipline, and competitive conversion.
• Strong KPI focus with the ability to hold teams accountable for measurable results.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Capability to work independently while aligning with sales leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Ability to establish effective customer relationships and manage escalations professionally.
• Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, territory plans, and performance updates.
• Ability to present information and respond to inquiries from managers, clients, customers, distributor partners, and the general public.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
• Capable of operating a motor vehicle daily for up to 8 hours or more.
• Must be eligible to work in the country where the position is based.
