This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee both union and non-union personnel engaged in maintenance work on the BWR Refuel Floor during outages.

• Spearhead the planning for project delivery, transition, risk identification, mitigation, and contingency strategies.

• Guide and mentor diverse teams of GEH personnel and contingent workers, including skilled labor.

• Contribute technical insights for commercial proposal development regarding labor quantities, hours, tooling, and logistics.

• Build and maintain relationships with senior management from customers and suppliers on commercial, execution, technical, and compliance matters.

• Assist with Product Line activities such as proposal development, product innovation, growth initiatives, and training creation and implementation.

• Provide specialized knowledge in reactor maintenance, in-vessel tooling, and GEH OEM equipment.

• Advocate for integrity, nuclear safety, and a culture of quality.

• Ensure that high-quality deliverables align with customer expectations, business protocols, and regulatory standards.

• Implement standard GVH processes across projects and guarantee adherence to procedures.

• Undertake additional tasks as needed based on business requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering field along with 5 years of experience in BWR Refuel Floor Outage Maintenance, OR a High School Diploma with at least 10 years of relevant experience.

• Prior experience as a Refuel Floor Technical Director or in a similar role supporting Refuel Outage maintenance.

• Willingness and ability to travel over 70% of the time to both domestic and international customer locations.

• Capability and readiness to support off-season projects, including Spent Fuel Pool cleanup and Dry Cask storage initiatives.

• Willingness to instruct courses in GEH Technical Training.

• Must be able to meet Fitness for Duty and site security requirements to secure and maintain unescorted access to U.S. and International Nuclear Plant Sites.

• Comfort working in radiation-controlled and potentially contaminated environments.

• Ability to successfully complete a respirator fit test and physical examination.

• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week during field project execution.

• Effectively manage stress in high-pressure situations.

• Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled information, if necessary.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if required.

• Broader experience in the nuclear sector, including plant operations and maintenance tasks.

• Familiarity with Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) outage maintenance activities.

• Experience in executing Spent Fuel Pool Cleanup and Dry Cask Storage projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

• Experience in commercial activities, proposal development, and cost estimation.

• In-depth knowledge of nuclear power plant refueling, maintenance, inspection, and modification processes.

• Understanding of BWR and PWR vessels and components, Nuclear Steam Safety System (NSSS), and Containment Buildings.

• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, P6, PLM, and Oracle ERP.
