Referral and WorkQueue Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage designated referral WorkQueues within the Epic system

• Update referral statuses, scheduling details, benefit information, and other pertinent data in Epic

• Identify and escalate referrals lacking information or needing further action to the clinical team

• Conduct calls for ineligibility notifications, offering clear explanations

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the EHR and Aviary Health systems

• Collaborate with the Aviary Health Care Team

• Report directly to the Clinical Eligibility Lead

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in a clinical administrative capacity

• 3 years of experience with Epic or general EMR systems

• 1 year of familiarity with medical terminology

• Proficient in computer skills, including use of Zoom, Google Suite, and EMR systems

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Knowledge of patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations

• Availability from Monday to Friday, 2-3 hours daily, totaling 10-15 hours weekly

• Position available as a 1099 Contractor only
