Recruitment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Identify and engage passive candidates through personalized outreach and convert them into applicants.

• Oversee incoming applications from platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and Ashby, ensuring candidates are progressed or declined within 48 hours.

• Execute initial phone or video interviews utilizing NORY's structured interview framework.

• Monitor weekly recruiting metrics, including applicant sources, time-to-screen, screen-to-offer ratios, and stage pass-through rates.

• Facilitate scheduling between candidates and hiring managers.

• Maintain a pool of qualified candidates for future job openings.

• Collaborate with hiring managers across various departments including Operations, Customer Happiness, Curriculum, Marketing, and Camp Delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, either in-house or in an agency setting.

• Proven success in sourcing passive candidates.

• Capability to craft outreach messages that elicit responses, supported by real examples.

• Familiarity with at least one modern applicant tracking system (ATS) such as Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever.

• Proficient in using LinkedIn Recruiter.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to evaluate candidate quality with honesty and integrity.
