Recruitment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Identify and engage passive candidates, encouraging them to apply through personalized outreach.

• Oversee incoming applications from platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Ashby ATS.

• Ensure candidates are moved forward or eliminated within a 48-hour timeframe.

• Conduct initial phone or video interviews using NORY's standardized interview framework.

• Monitor weekly recruiting metrics, including applicant sources, time-to-screen, screen-to-offer, and pass-through rates.

• Organize scheduling between candidates and hiring managers.

• Keep a pool of qualified candidates ready for future job openings.

• Collaborate with hiring managers across various departments, including Operations, Customer Happiness, Curriculum, Marketing, and Camp Delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, whether in-house or within an agency.

• Proven success in sourcing passive candidates.

• Strong writing skills for outreach that generates responses, including real examples.

• Experience with at least one contemporary ATS, such as Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever.

• Proficiency in using LinkedIn Recruiter.

• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Honest evaluation of candidate quality.

• Capacity to participate in two weekly meetings: a planning synchronization on Monday and a metrics review on Friday.

• Capability to complete application questions on Ashby.

• Resume submission is mandatory.
