Recruitment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Identify and engage passive candidates through strategic outreach, leading to their conversion into applicants.

• Oversee incoming applications from platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Ashby ATS.

• Ensure candidates progress or are informed within a 48-hour timeframe.

• Perform initial phone or video screenings based on NORY's structured interview framework.

• Monitor weekly recruitment metrics, including sources of applicants, time-to-screen, screen-to-offer, and pass-through rates at each stage.

• Facilitate scheduling between candidates and hiring managers.

• Maintain a pool of strong candidates for future job openings.

• Collaborate with hiring managers from Operations, Customer Happiness, Curriculum, Marketing, and Camp Delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruiting, whether in-house or agency.

• Proven success in sourcing passive candidates.

• Ability to craft outreach messages that elicit responses, with actual examples to demonstrate effectiveness.

• Familiarity with at least one modern Applicant Tracking System (ATS) such as Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever.

• Proficient in utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter.

• Strong organizational skills and a systematic approach to work.

• Honest evaluation of candidate quality.
