Recruitment Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee the time-to-fill process from when a client signs until a candidate is placed.

• Maintain a pool of thoroughly screened, interview-ready candidates for high-volume positions.

• Lead a team consisting of an operations coordinator, recruiters/screeners, and sourcing support.

• Set productivity standards and develop scorecards.

• Ensure high placement quality and achieve a 90-day retention rate.

• Manage the JazzHR ATS pipeline, sourcing channels, and overall candidate experience.

• Drive an increase in monthly placements without sacrificing quality.

• Expand the variety of roles filled as the business evolves.

• Conduct an audit of the existing pipeline, candidate bench, and screening processes within the first 90 days.

• Establish daily and weekly operational rhythms to ensure searches progress smoothly.

• Report directly to the founder.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10+ years of recruitment experience with proven leadership capabilities.

• Background in managing an agency, branch, or permanent desk with P&L or billing responsibilities.

• Proven experience in managing recruiters while maintaining quality under time constraints.

• Strong understanding of monthly placements, fill times, and fall-off rates.

• Comfortable working remotely during US-aligned hours.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools for screening, sourcing, and expediting processes.

• Capable of rewriting ineffective processes or scaling a partially developed function.

• Experience in placing candidates with clients in the US, UK, or Australia is highly preferred.
