Recruitment Consultant / Recruitment Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Manage multiple job vacancies spanning both technical and professional fields.

• Create and oversee job advertisements while evaluating incoming applications.

• Actively source candidates through PNET, Zoho Recruit, LinkedIn, and various other channels.

• Develop Boolean search strings to locate candidates who may not be actively applying.

• Conduct telephone screenings and interviews with candidates based on specific job criteria.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of candidate, client, and vacancy data in Zoho Recruit.

• Handle candidate communications, coordinate interview schedules, manage documentation, and follow up as necessary.

• Support reference checks and other pre-employment/background verification processes.

• Present qualified shortlisted candidates for consideration.

• At the Consultant level, begin to take full ownership of the recruitment process, from client brief to vacancy management, interviews, offers, and placements.

• Cultivate professional relationships with candidates and, based on experience, clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in a recruitment agency setting is highly preferred.

• Proven ability to source candidates via job portals, databases, and/or LinkedIn.

• Comfortable with screening and engaging candidates over the phone.

• Strong judgement skills when evaluating CVs against job descriptions.

• Confident in utilizing recruitment systems/ATS technology; experience with Zoho Recruit is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Organized and capable of managing multiple vacancies, candidates, and follow-ups effectively.

• For the Junior Consultant path, previous experience managing vacancies and direct client communication would be particularly beneficial.

• Familiarity with technical, engineering, mining, manufacturing, or industrial recruitment is advantageous but not mandatory.
