Recruitment Consultant – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with department heads to create and draft comprehensive, precise job descriptions and recruitment criteria.

• Oversee the job posting and position promotion processes.

• Arrange interviews for all roles and maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment journey.

• Evaluate candidates and offer recommendations to the recruitment team.

• Engage in and facilitate the interview process, including debriefing sessions with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.

• Work alongside the hiring manager and/or other Human Resources team members during the offer process.

• Identify and suggest salary ranges, bonuses, start dates, and other pertinent details.

• Ensure adherence to relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies.

• Manage recruitment databases and the Lever ATS to guarantee accuracy in reporting.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is required.

• Previous recruiting experience in the telecommunications or data center sector is advantageous.

• Experience in high-volume recruiting for operations-focused positions, especially in HVAC, mechanical, technical maintenance, and related fields, is beneficial.

• Strong skills in relationship-building and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with various hiring managers.

• Prior experience working at a recruitment agency is a plus.

• Proven ability to source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter is an asset.

• A passion for collaborating with the company to identify the best talent for our teams.

• Capability to assess candidates during Zoom interviews and provide key insights to the recruitment team.

• A minimum of five years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated negotiation and closing skills.

• Experience using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) is strongly preferred; familiarity with Lever is an asset.

• Proficiency in English is essential for this role, particularly for frequent communication with employees, customers, and/or suppliers located outside Quebec.
