This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process for various positions concurrently.
• Actively seek out candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, CV databases, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Develop and sustain talent pools for frequently filled and forthcoming project roles.
• Evaluate and assess candidates based on role specifications and conduct preliminary interviews.
• Organize interviews, gather feedback, extend offers, and manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
• Keep precise candidate records, interview notes, and recruitment documentation within the ATS.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to comprehend recruitment requirements, candidate availability, and hiring schedules.
• Provide stakeholders with updates on recruitment progress, pipelines, and time-to-fill metrics.
• Recognize and highlight recruitment risks, delays, or candidate shortages.
• Manage onboarding activities, which include start dates, documentation, and handovers.
• Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and pipeline status.
• Offer recruitment insights and market feedback to aid in hiring decisions.
• Conduct basic salary and market benchmarking using job boards, salary guides, and insights from competitors.
• Ensure job advertisements accurately represent approved role profiles, responsibilities, and requirements.
• Assist with employer branding and candidate experience initiatives.
• Ensure recruitment activities adhere to employment legislation, internal policies, and client requirements.
• Identify recruitment bottlenecks and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of recruitment processes.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
• Advocate for the utilization of AI and digital recruitment tools to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruitment delivery, ideally in a high-volume setting.
• Experience in recruiting for technical, operational, engineering, construction, utilities, or telecom positions is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with technical roles including Fibre Engineers, Cablers, Civils Operatives, Supervisors, Planners, or similar positions is beneficial.
• Practical experience in sourcing through LinkedIn, job boards, CV databases, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Proficiency with ATS and recruitment systems, including candidate tracking and recruitment reporting.
• Understanding of recruitment compliance, right-to-work regulations, and pre-employment checks.
• Strong skills in screening, interviewing, and candidate evaluation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence when collaborating with hiring managers.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing several vacancies at once.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with a proactive and solutions-driven approach.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with recruitment metrics and market data.
