Recruiting Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced team setting.

• Identify and recruit talent for around 300 seasonal positions for spring planting.

• Promote the CHS employment brand, diversity initiatives, and associated programs.

• Assist in the recruitment process, which includes job postings, resume evaluations, interviews, and competitive analysis.

• Utilize applicant tracking and recruiting software to monitor candidates through the interview process with hiring managers.

• Acquire knowledge of and effectively communicate employee benefits, compensation, incentive programs, and CHS culture to prospective candidates.

• Provide sourcing assistance to Talent Acquisition team members.

• Ensure candidates have a positive experience by maintaining timely follow-ups and professional communication.

• Offer hiring managers a positive experience along with regular progress updates.

• Employ social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and various innovative methods to find candidates.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, ideally with a focus on Human Resources, Business, Communications, or Agriculture.

• Preferred prior internship experience in an HR or recruiting capacity.

• Agricultural knowledge is advantageous.

• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.

• Capable of critical thinking and problem-solving.

• Availability for full-time hours of 32+ per week, with the ability to work during core business hours.

• Must be able to work during core business hours, typically from 8 am to 5 pm Central Time.

• Selected candidates may need to pass applicable pre-employment screenings if required.
