This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.
• Evaluate resumes and employment applications for vacant roles.
• Conduct preliminary phone screenings with candidates.
• Assess candidates' qualifications, work experience, communication abilities, and overall suitability.
• Evaluate candidates for service-oriented, operational, and field-related positions.
• Document notes from interviews and assessments of candidates.
• Maintain prompt communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Assist in sourcing candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, and other recruiting avenues.
• Arrange interviews between qualified candidates and hiring managers.
• Coordinate interview logistics and verify candidate availability.
• Keep organized hiring records and interview schedules.
• Initiate and oversee pre-employment background checks.
• Request and review Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) for positions that involve driving duties.
• Ensure all necessary screening documentation is completed and received.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding candidate information and screening results.
• Present qualified and screened candidates to the Director of Human Resources for further consideration and final interviews.
• Update and manage applicant tracking systems and recruiting documentation.
• Prepare reports on candidate status and provide recruiting updates as required.
• Contribute to the continual improvement of recruitment processes and candidate experiences.
• Assist with hiring projects and talent acquisition initiatives across various markets.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams).
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information.
• Must reside and work within the Eastern Time Zone.
• Personable and comfortable conversing with candidates over the phone.
• Confident in conducting phone interviews and candidate screenings.
• Ability to handle a large volume of applicants.
• Experienced in evaluating candidates for operational, service-oriented, and field service roles.
• Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or human resources is preferred.
• Experience supporting high-volume hiring initiatives is preferred.
• Background in recruiting for service-based, operational, technician, or field positions is preferred.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and online recruiting platforms is preferred.
• Experience with Paylocity or other HRIS/ATS systems is preferred.
• Recruiting experience in route service, field service, pest control, restoration, commercial cleaning, facilities services, logistics and transportation, warehousing, delivery operations, skilled trades, food service, support services, mechanical/maintenance/service technician roles, security services, landscaping, property maintenance, or janitorial services is highly preferred.
