Recruiter – Energy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assist the Energy Division and People & Culture team in attracting, engaging, and recruiting exceptional talent.

• Oversee the complete recruitment process from the initial contact to the acceptance of the offer.

• Collaborate with business leaders to identify workforce needs, prioritize hiring, and define role specifications.

• Offer insights on recruitment best practices.

• Actively source and engage both active and passive candidates via professional networks, social media, recruitment technologies, and targeted outreach.

• Create and evaluate recruiting metrics to uncover trends, monitor performance, and foster continuous improvement.

• Represent and advocate for the KE employer brand at networking events, career fairs, and during candidate interactions.

• Serve as the primary contact for career events in Illinois.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with internal stakeholders and candidates to enhance long-term talent pipeline development.

• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or enterprise-level hiring.

• Proven experience in managing high-volume or complex recruiting projects.

• Availability to travel to the Oglesby, IL office or career events across Illinois as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong grasp of hiring best practices and strategies to enhance candidate experience.

• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies.

• Capability to analyze recruiting metrics and convert data into actionable insights.

• Tech-savvy with experience in social recruitment and modern sourcing techniques.

• Background in proactive sourcing using platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, or similar.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.

• Experience in the construction, manufacturing industry, or craft labor recruiting is preferred.

• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for extended periods.

• Capability to work in outdoor environments, including exposure to extreme weather conditions.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States, verified through E-Verify.
