This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Identify and engage passive construction professionals for challenging roles through LinkedIn, contact-data tools, and telephone outreach.

• Execute multi-touch outreach in SourceWhale utilizing calls, voicemails, and follow-up emails.

• Conduct both Short and Long Candidate Data Sheet interviews.

• Uncover compensation expectations and candidate motivations early in the process.

• Pre-close candidates before introductions, managing counteroffer risks by addressing acceptance and start dates.

• Create candid Talent Profiles and Talent Bench checklists.

• Log every candidate interaction and status update in SourceWhale.

• Build and sustain Talent Benches of pre-qualified Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, and Preconstruction leaders.

• Operate within client budgets and hourly targets across multiple simultaneous searches.

• Compose client Statements of Understanding, candidate call scripts, and search updates as necessary.

• Collaborate daily with a small, experienced remote team via phone and video.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of recruiting and sourcing experience or equivalent sales experience.

• Demonstrated ability to identify, engage, qualify, develop, and manage passive candidates.

• Previous experience in construction, engineering, or AEC is strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of how contractors organize project management, field operations, and preconstruction processes.

• Proven cold-calling experience with the capability to tell an engaging story over the phone.

• Exceptional writing skills.

• Strong critical thinking and an analytical approach to recruitment.

• Ability to handle multiple searches under time constraints and client expectations.

• Self-motivated and productive in a remote work environment.

• Confidence in video calls with clients and candidates.

• Driven by personal achievements and the success of those served.

• Availability to work hours aligned with Eastern Time.

• Familiarity with Southeast construction markets is a plus.
