This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the entire recruitment process for both clinical and non-clinical healthcare roles, encompassing sourcing, screening, offer acceptance, and onboarding coordination.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing requirements, create job postings, arrange interviews, and facilitate timely hiring decisions.
• Evaluate candidates based on job specifications, professional qualifications, licensing criteria, and suitability for the organization.
• Develop and sustain talent pipelines through networking with healthcare professionals, educational institutions, professional associations, and recruitment partners.
• Provide guidance to candidates and employers on Canadian immigration pathways, eligibility requirements, documentation, timelines, and compliance responsibilities.
• Prepare, assess, submit, and track immigration applications and supporting documents, including LMIA, AIP, PNP, work permits, Express Entry, and permanent residency issues.
• Coordinate with candidates, employers, legal representatives, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to fulfill application prerequisites and resolve any challenges.
• Monitor immigration statuses, permit expirations, employer compliance necessities, and application milestones for international hires.
• Ensure complete, accurate, and confidential recruitment and immigration records are maintained in the applicant tracking system, SharePoint, and associated databases.
• Draft offer letters, recruitment reports, application packages, correspondence, and other employment-related documentation.
• Assist with onboarding processes, including benefits and pension enrolment, employee documentation, and record maintenance.
• Utilize Microsoft 365 tools and Copilot to optimize workflows, enhance collaboration, and improve reporting and administrative efficiency.
• Stay informed about healthcare labor market trends, licensing and credential recognition requirements, and updates to federal and provincial immigration programs.
• Current license and good standing as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) or equivalent authorization to provide Canadian immigration advice and representation, or a willingness to obtain licensing.
• Proven experience managing full-cycle healthcare recruitment in an agency, corporate, or institutional setting.
• Practical knowledge in preparing, submitting, or assisting with LMIA applications and employer-driven work permit processes.
• Familiarity with the Atlantic Immigration Program, particularly regarding employer designation and endorsement prerequisites.
• Experience with Provincial Nominee Programs, Express Entry, permanent residency pathways, and other federal or provincial immigration options.
• Understanding of Canadian immigration laws, documentation standards, application procedures, and employer compliance responsibilities.
• Knowledge of healthcare professions, professional credentials, foreign credential recognition, and licensing standards for regulated professionals.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and case management skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience using an applicant tracking system to manage candidate pipelines, recruitment activities, and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, and capability to utilize Copilot or similar AI-assisted tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal judgment and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage confidential information, prioritize competing demands, and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Prince Edward Island immigration programs and processes, or proven ability to quickly learn specific jurisdictional requirements.
• Preferred: experience in recruiting regulated healthcare professionals such as nurses, pharmacists, and allied health workers.
• Preferred: familiarity with the healthcare systems and recruitment landscape of the Atlantic provinces.
• Preferred: previous experience in providing immigration support for international healthcare professionals.
• Preferred: understanding of work permit criteria and credential recognition processes for healthcare professionals.
• Preferred: advanced skills in automating recruitment using M365 tools and AI-assisted features.
