This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the complete recruiting process for positions across various offices, primarily focusing on Houston and San Antonio.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to gain insights into staffing needs, formulate recruiting strategies, and define suitable candidate profiles.
• Recruit for roles including Attorneys, Paralegals, Legal Secretaries, and other office-related positions.
• Manage around 15–20 open positions at the same time.
• Create and publish job descriptions on the firm's career site and external job boards.
• Source, identify, and engage qualified candidates through job boards, professional networks, referrals, and additional recruiting avenues.
• Conduct initial phone interviews with candidates and evaluate them against the requirements of the position.
• Present qualified candidates to hiring managers, including summaries and recommendations.
• Organize both virtual and in-person interviews.
• Maintain candidate and requisition data in Lever ATS.
• Assist with the offer process, candidate communications, and pre-employment requirements.
• Identify areas for enhancement in recruiting processes, candidate experience, and time-to-fill metrics.
• Support employee onboarding initiatives, including 30/60/90-day check-ins for new hires.
• A minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, ideally in a corporate, professional services, legal, or similarly dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing hiring priorities concurrently.
• Demonstrated experience in recruiting a diverse range of professional, administrative, and/or specialized roles.
• Strong candidate sourcing and interview skills, with the capability to effectively evaluate candidates and convey recommendations to hiring managers.
• Experience collaborating directly with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle a high-volume workload and adhere to deadlines.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain precise candidate and hiring records.
• Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); experience with Lever is advantageous.
• Comfortable with learning and utilizing recruiting technology, job boards, and various sourcing tools.
• Professional, approachable, and service-oriented communication style.
• Capacity to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment when managing sensitive candidate and employee information.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating as part of a recruiting and People team.
• Experience recruiting in a multi-office or geographically dispersed organization is preferred.
