This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, starting from requisition intake to candidate sourcing, offer, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to grasp position requirements and formulate effective recruiting strategies.
• Identify candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, employee referrals, and various other recruitment channels.
• Recruit for both technical and professional roles that support federal government contracts.
• Create and sustain candidate pipelines for current and future contract and proposal needs.
• Review resumes and conduct preliminary interviews with candidates.
• Source and engage candidates who possess active or previously held U.S. government security clearances.
• Utilize Boolean search methods and other sourcing strategies effectively.
• Organize interviews and ensure ongoing communication with candidates and hiring managers.
• Prepare and extend job offers while coordinating pre-employment processes with Human Resources.
• Keep precise candidate information and recruitment activities documented in the Applicant Tracking System.
• Track recruitment activities and provide updates regarding candidate pipelines and hiring progress.
• Assist in recruiting efforts for new contract awards, recompetes, and proposal initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with candidates and passive talent.
• Represent Ardent at recruitment events and career fairs.
• Ensure all recruiting activities align with company policies and relevant employment laws.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of recruiting experience, particularly in support of government contracting (GovCon) organizations.
• Proven experience in recruiting for federal government contract roles, including technical and professional positions.
• Experience in sourcing candidates for challenging positions.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various recruiting platforms.
• Proficient in using LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search techniques.
• Understanding of federal government security clearance requirements, with experience in recruiting cleared candidates.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of managing multiple open positions and competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with hiring managers and leadership.
• Must be willing to undergo the government-issued background investigation process.
• Preferred: experience in recruiting for Defense, Homeland Security, Civilian, or other federal government agencies.
• Preferred: experience recruiting candidates with Top Secret, Secret, or other government security clearances.
• Preferred: experience supporting recruiting initiatives for new contract awards, recompetes, and proposals.
• Preferred: established network within federal contracting and cleared talent communities.
• Preferred: experience in recruiting for cybersecurity, cloud, GIS, systems engineering, software development, data, and other technical roles.
• Preferred: experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, Indeed, and other specialized recruiting resources.
• Preferred: familiarity with federal contracting terminology, labor categories, contract staffing requirements, and proposal recruiting.
