Recovery Access Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to all incoming calls in a friendly and energetic manner, adhering to established guidelines.

• Clarify the organizational structure and program criteria to both prospective and current members.

• Provide knowledgeable responses to clinical inquiries, identifying and assisting with the needs of callers.

• Conduct client Biopsychosocial Assessments using motivational interviewing techniques to assess program eligibility.

• Schedule initial intake appointments utilizing the EMR system.

• Ensure smooth client intake processes and manage client no-shows in collaboration with clinic coordinators.

• Act as the primary contact and member liaison for both prospective and existing members.

• Foster a positive experience and establish therapeutic rapport with clients.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned based on business requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; an Associate's degree is preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience in human services/healthcare or a customer service-related role.

• Access to dependable internet and telephone services with a minimum of 10M download and 5M upload speeds.

• Strong WiFi signal must be available from the remote work location.

• Must fulfill pre-employment requirements and comply with relevant state and job-specific background screening guidelines.

• Depending on state-specific regulations, fingerprinting, drug testing, health screenings, CPR/Basic First Aid, and license/credential verifications may be necessary.

• A friendly, clear, and warm communication style when handling phone interactions.

• Strong critical thinking, judgment, prioritization, and customer service skills.

• Comfortable navigating multiple IT systems, applications, tools, and telecommunication systems.

• Ability to work independently with general supervision.

• Capability to understand and comply with the Code of Conduct.

• Must be available to work Monday–Friday, from 11am to 7pm EST.

• Required to work a minimum of 3 company holidays per year and 2 company mental health days per year.
