Recovery Access Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to all incoming calls promptly and with a warm, enthusiastic demeanor.

• Clarify the organizational structure and eligibility requirements for both prospective and current members.

• Provide knowledgeable responses to clinical inquiries and identify, assist, and follow up on the needs of callers.

• Conduct client Biopsychosocial Assessments utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to assess program eligibility.

• Arrange initial intake appointments through the EMR system.

• Ensure a smooth client intake process and manage no-show situations in collaboration with clinic coordinators.

• Act as the primary point of contact and member representative for prospective and existing members.

• Create a positive experience and foster therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Commit to working a minimum of 3 company holidays and 2 company mental health days each year.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• An associate's degree is preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience in human services/healthcare or in a customer service role is necessary.

• Must have access to reliable internet and phone services, with a minimum of 10M download and 5M upload speeds.

• A strong WiFi connection is required from the remote work location.

• Must comply with pre-employment criteria and relevant state and job-related background screening standards.

• Depending on state-specific regulations: may require fingerprinting, drug testing, health screenings, CPR/Basic First Aid certification, and license/credential verifications.

• Excellent, friendly, and effective phone communication skills are essential.

• Strong critical thinking and judgment abilities are required.

• Capability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong telecommunication skills with comfort in using various IT systems, applications, and tools.

• A solid customer service orientation is crucial.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Must understand and adhere to the Code of Conduct.
