Record to Report Configuration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Set up R2R components, which include journal processing, allocations, reconciliation rules, intercompany configurations, and reporting structures.

• Oversee financial-close configurations that facilitate period openings/closings, accruals, reclassifications, and automated posting workflows.

• Convert functional and accounting requirements into ERP configurations spanning GL, Intercompany, Allocations, and reporting modules.

• Confirm the accuracy of integrations between upstream and downstream finance processes, such as AP, AR, Assets, Projects, and Procurement.

• Manage configuration documentation, refresh workbooks, and assist with the migration of configurations across various environments.

• Aid in testing phases (SIT, UAT, regression) and address any functional or cross-module defects that arise.

• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure that configurations comply with regulations, audit standards, and internal controls.

• Diagnose system integration challenges and ensure the accuracy of financial postings throughout the journal lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience configuring ERP R2R modules (Oracle Cloud ERP preferred).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial-close processes, and comprehensive journal lifecycle management.

• Capability to interpret functional requirements and convert them into system configurations.

• Experience in test management, functional specification documentation, and defect resolution.

• Robust analytical abilities with expertise in troubleshooting system integration problems.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams.
