Record Searcher, Records Verification

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough record evaluations with employers, educational institutions, law enforcement agencies, courts, and other informed individuals.

• Utilize authorized system access to gather facts and address significant issues in background investigation cases.

• Assess the background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications of subjects under investigation.

• Employ technology, electronic tools, and multiple systems concurrently to analyze records.

• Submit record requests and conduct reviews through VTC, phone interviews, fax, and DoD Safe.

• Occasionally conduct local in-person follow-ups and procure money orders as needed.

• Potentially gain exposure to various investigation contracts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum clearance level required to begin: Top Secret.

• Customer credential or the capability to acquire it based on National Training Standard certification and recent background investigation experience for this customer.

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of general experience showcasing progressive responsibility in problem-solving, planning, organizing work, and effective oral and written communication.

• Capacity to obtain and sustain a favorable determination based on a T5 Investigation.

• Ability to navigate and utilize multiple technology systems simultaneously.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams.

• Capability to effectively research information using the internet.

• Possession of a current driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to travel locally based on assignment location.

• A home office equipped with reliable high-speed Internet and fax capabilities.

• Ability to sit, type, stand, or walk for extended durations.

• Outstanding time management and prioritization abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in managing a corporate credit card and completing required expense processes.
