This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota, +2 more states.
• Oversee and coordinate real estate projects, including site selection, design, and store openings.
• Analyze market trends and monitor competitors, retail activities, and growth trajectories.
• Utilize GIS systems to acquire demographic and modeling data for formulating growth strategies.
• Stay informed about potential site opportunities within designated market areas.
• Negotiate letters of intent and assist in lease negotiations with legal, franchise, and landlord stakeholders.
• Prepare Real Estate Committee presentations for final approval or denial.
• Provide training to franchisees and operating partners on effective site selection practices.
• Conduct field reviews of proposed sites within the established timelines.
• Collaborate with construction teams regarding landlord/developer communications, deadlines, and financial viability.
• Establish new markets as directed by the Real Estate Committee.
• Maintain broker networks to facilitate site acquisition in targeted development markets.
• Deliver timely updates concerning development activities in the assigned region.
• Formulate growth strategies for the company and franchise partner development.
• Keep communication lines open with headquarters departments regarding site opportunities and development requirements.
• Foster relationships with community leaders, government officials, brokers, landlords, vendors, and other collaborators.
• Participate in ICSC, Retail Live, and other retail conferences to educate partners and identify site opportunities.
• Work closely with Construction, Operations Support, Administration, and pre-opening support to ensure successful store launches.
• Collaborate with architecture and design teams to ensure that plan development and partner timelines remain on schedule.
