This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with scientific and managerial stakeholders at Strategic Account R&D sites.
• Enhance access, trust, and early visibility into molecule programs, discovery initiatives, and R&D decision-making processes.
• Facilitate timely technology seeding and create new opportunities.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for early-stage technology seeding.
• Convert R&D process requirements and discovery-stage needs into actionable use cases.
• Coordinate with technical experts from Business Units for validation support across new molecules, processes, and modalities.
• Propel the validation of chosen technologies through defined process steps and product trials.
• Implement a process-consultancy approach, documenting outcomes and readiness indicators.
• Assist with pilot and clinical-phase (Phase I–III) process and product trials.
• Support validation for scale-up/scale-down processes, optimization, and manufacturing readiness.
• Oversee and monitor the new process landscape within the account.
• Highlight changes in footprint, risks, and implications to internal stakeholders.
• Conduct organized handovers of validated programs into the commercial scope.
• Compile stakeholder maps, contextual process details, validation evidence, and subsequent actions.
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant experience in customer-facing roles within biopharma settings, such as process development support, technical sales, applications, or scientific assistance.
• Strong familiarity with R&D environments.
• Industry experience in R&D related to bioprocessing, upstream or downstream processes, purification, or filtration is advantageous.
• Capability to operate credibly in highly scientific settings and translate early R&D requirements into structured paths for validation and adoption.
• Skill in influencing senior decision-makers across diverse backgrounds and collaborating with Technical Sales to develop intricate customer solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across customer R&D networks and internal matrix teams.
• High level of proficiency in CRM (SFDC) and meticulous documentation practices for structured handovers, including pipeline tracking, customer processes, validation evidence, and decision points.
• Proficient in English.
• Willingness to travel over 50%, as this role heavily focuses on external customers.
