This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Provide engineering support for cybersecurity within DLA's Research & Development initiatives
• Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, and support the Okta environment and related network software for DLA
• Organize and oversee the configuration, operation, and continuous administration of DLA’s Okta infrastructure
• Analyze and resolve software and connectivity issues faced by end-users
• Conduct capacity planning and performance analysis
• Recommend modifications and upgrades to system configurations
• Design and implement automated tools and scripts to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of system administration
• Create and update system administration documentation and procedures
• Conduct training sessions and skills assessments for system administrators
• Provide technical support and training for end-users
• Suggest technology solutions that align with business goals and strategic direction
• Offer local and remote maintenance support for operational systems within the DLA Okta environment
• Execute system maintenance, upgrades, and new installations of servers and applications
• Supervise the work of system administrators to ensure effective daily administration, resource optimization, and user support
• Utilize advanced technical expertise in application networking, including load balancing and fault tolerance
• A decade (10 years) of pertinent experience in Information Technology
• Five (5) years of relevant experience in Operational Technology (OT)
• Proven experience in analyzing cybersecurity and information security requirements, applying technical methodologies to address system and technology-related cybersecurity issues
• Experience in providing security engineering support throughout the planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration phases of information systems
• Must hold a relevant certification that meets DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III standards
• Must possess an IASAE Level III certification or be able to obtain it within six (6) months of commencing the contract
• Must have an approved Computing Environment (CE) certification, such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate or Expert, Cisco Certified Network Administrator, Microsoft Azure Security Technologies, Amazon Certified Security, or another CE certification as specified by the COR
• Must have a Moderate Risk, Confidential, Non-Critical Sensitive, Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI investigation completed at the time of proposal submission
