Radiation Oncology Clinical Implementation Consultant – Remote/Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Execute consulting project activities as a radiation therapy subject matter expert through medium- to long-term customer engagements.

• Support clients with clinical operations aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, improving care efficiencies, reducing costs, and providing customer value propositions.

• Assess business processes and propose modifications as necessary.

• Document workflows, identify issues, specify and design hardware and software, manage changes, test strategies, identify training requirements, and implement solutions.

• Assist in the creation and development of consultative services.

• Create metrics that showcase clinical, operational, and financial value.

• Facilitate product training and implementation through onsite and remote training, eLearning, implementation processes, and follow-up support.

• Act as a clinical resource for the SHS Varian Nova Scotia project implementation team, including content curation, product configuration, testing, and workflow management.

• Map current-state workflows to future-state and conduct gap analysis.

• Lead requirements-gathering sessions through both onsite and remote analysis, as well as customer interviews.

• Convert workflow requirements into actionable technical configuration tasks with the technical implementation team.

• Develop and promote customer-specific user adoption strategies and best practices.

• Provide onsite assistance during the system Go-Live and the immediate post-Go-Live periods.

• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certified Radiation Therapist or Certified Medical Dosimetrist.

• BSN/BS/BA in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proven leadership experience in clinical operations with a focus on strategic and business planning, as well as financial and operational performance.

• Over 5 years of combined experience in an Oncology setting and with Healthcare Technology vendors.

• Residency in Nova Scotia is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

• Must comply with applicable Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include valid identification, criminal background checks, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training.
