QuickBooks Bookkeeper

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Reconcile transactions from bank, credit card, and merchant accounts.

• Execute bill payments and manage invoicing processes.

• Oversee accounts receivable activities.

• Handle inventory management along with accounting for Amazon and Shopify.

• Conduct monthly financial closings.

• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.

• Support various financial projects.

• Aid in the preparation of financial statements for audit, review, and compilation purposes.

• Review, train, and mentor account managers, particularly in senior account manager duties.

• Assist in the review and management of accounting personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in accounting/bookkeeping, including monthly financial closures.

• Background in an Accounting/Auditing firm is preferred.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and Desktop.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Must be accountable, resourceful, and self-driven.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
