Quality Technician – Concrete Division

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Validate approved submittals prior to the commencement of work

• Ensure that installations meet specified requirements and verify materials against receipts

• Audit quality plans of contractors

• Maintain up-to-date drawings, specifications, submittals, and other project-related documentation

• Report on daily audits and testing procedures

• Carry out special inspections, including those for delegated design systems

• Review and document the rectification of non-conforming work

• Engage in discussions regarding quality management, project specifications, lessons learned, and hold points

• Confirm hold points and secure quality management approval prior to releasing work

• Monitor construction deficiencies through acceptable corrective actions in collaboration with the Site Manager

• Conduct hold point, random, and quality control inspections of installations

• Inspect products, materials, and equipment upon their arrival at the job site

• Create and assess To-do/Punch Lists alongside quality management and the Superintendent

• Communicate the status of project quality during customer meetings

• Promptly report any quality issues that may necessitate work stoppage

• Execute other responsibilities as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or technical/associate degree in a relevant field; or two to five years of progressive experience in concrete construction; or at least five years of work experience

• Awareness of the specific requirements associated with this work

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Willingness and capacity to travel up to 100% of the time

• Basic proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email

• Government Certified Quality Technician Certification is preferred, but not mandatory

• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
