Quality Review Specialist III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Facilitate regular evaluations to determine if individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities receive tailored support and services.

• Carry out scheduled assessments of IDD service providers' effectiveness in maintaining individuals' health and safety.

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of programs and service providers against set standards.

• Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and policies concerning developmental disabilities.

• Identify areas for improvement and work together with stakeholders on quality enhancement initiatives.

• Review provider documentation, reports, and records.

• Advocate for the rights and welfare of individuals with developmental disabilities.

• Analyze program outcomes, client satisfaction, and other pertinent metrics.

• Engage in communication with service providers, agencies, and stakeholders.

• Develop and deliver technical assistance, training, and guidance on best practices, quality standards, and compliance.

• Take prompt action in cases of abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation in line with established protocols.

• Conduct respectful interviews with service recipients and provider staff.

• Accurately document review findings and create reports.

• Organize and plan own work while collaborating with the manager to prioritize projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required; education may be substituted for experience.

• 5–7 years of experience is required; 8–11 years is preferred.

• Must fulfill the criteria to be a Developmental Disabilities Professional (DDP).

• Must meet the qualifications to be a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP).

• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screens is required.

• This role is home-based in Florida.
