This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Oversee the implementation of the Quality Excellence Academy throughout North America.
• Create, develop, and present instructor-led, virtual, and hybrid learning programs.
• Collaborate with process owners and subject matter experts to convert quality requirements into scalable educational solutions.
• Evaluate organizational capability gaps and formulate learning pathways, curricula, and development plans.
• Initially act as the regional capability lead for Investigation Management, Root Cause Analysis, Problem Solving, and other related quality disciplines.
• Broaden programs to include Process Validation, Change Control, Technical Writing, and upcoming strategic priorities.
• Mentor associates, leaders, and subject matter experts on technical proficiency, decision-making, and the application of quality processes.
• Assist with onboarding, role-based development, and specific remediation programs.
• Assess the effectiveness of learning through observations, assessments, performance metrics, and feedback from stakeholders.
• Promote the adoption of standard methodologies, tools, and best practices across various sites.
• Collaborate with site Quality teams, Central Quality, Learning & Development, and business leaders.
• Ensure governance and documentation for training programs and activities related to learning effectiveness.
• Utilize data, quality metrics, inspection results, and feedback to pinpoint capability gaps and areas for improvement.
• Support CAPAs, effectiveness activities, and remediation strategies.
• Lead Kaizen events, structured problem-solving sessions, and initiatives focused on continuous improvement.
• Disseminate best practices and insights learned across different sites.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, quality excellence, and operational efficiency.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline is mandatory.
• 5+ years of experience in a regulated environment such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or biologics.
• Proven expertise in Quality Engineering and Quality Systems within a regulated sector.
• Experience in applying quality principles to enhance product and process performance.
• Background in delivering Quality or technical training in regulated environments, including instructor-led, virtual, and hybrid learning formats.
• Familiarity with CAPA, nonconformance management, change control, process validation, design controls, and risk management.
• Experience in coaching associates, subject matter experts, and leaders.
• Proficient in developing and supporting training effectiveness initiatives using observations, feedback, metrics, and verification techniques.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to engage diverse audiences, including senior leadership, both in person and virtually.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence stakeholders in a matrix organization.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience in problem-solving, continuous improvement, and Kaizen methodologies.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25-50% of the time.
• Proficient in delivering training in both English and Spanish.
• Preferred experience in preparing for audits and inspections, response readiness, or remediation activities.
• An MBA or equivalent business experience is preferred.
