Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more locations.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated tests utilizing Cypress and WebDriverIO.

• Implement and manage API automation tests with Karate.

• Create and sustain automated test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript in Node.js environments.

• Execute automated test suites, evaluate results, identify defects, and collaborate closely with engineering teams to facilitate resolution.

• Contribute to the formulation of test strategies, planning, and best practices for automation, regression, and performance testing.

• Continuously enhance test coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency.

• Engage in code reviews and advocate for quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Cypress, WebDriverIO, and Karate testing tools.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js frameworks.

• Experience in constructing and maintaining automated test frameworks.

• Solid grasp of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Nice to have: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with performance or load testing tools.

• Nice to have: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
