Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites for over 30 licensed WMS modules.

• Design and conduct comprehensive warehouse workflow tests, covering the entire process from receiving to shipping.

• Validate REST/OData APIs against the generated controllers.

• Gain an understanding of the product architecture and the multi-tenant model within a 6-month timeframe.

• Meet project velocity, quality, and accuracy targets.

• Achieve proficiency in Warehouse Edge testing within 6 to 12 months.

• Spot opportunities for testing innovation and continuous improvement.

• Formulate regression strategies for intricate multi-module systems.

• Identify gaps and suggest enhancements to the test automation processes or architecture.

• Implement risk-based testing and prioritization methods.

• Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, support, PSG, and other stakeholders.

• Create test documentation, defect reports, detailed reproduction steps, and root cause analyses.

• Communicate requirements and align test coverage with the organization's objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in software quality engineering or test automation.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.

• More than 2 years of experience working in an Agile development environment.

• Capability to independently design test strategies and regression plans for complex multi-module systems.

• Experience in mentoring or guiding junior team members.

• Ability to articulate technical issues, root causes, and solutions effectively.

• Strong analytical and investigative skills for conducting root cause analysis.

• Proficiency in English.

• Required expertise in C# and .NET Framework 4.8.

• Required proficiency in MSSQL and crafting complex queries.

• Experience in REST/OData API testing.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps Test Plans or comparable test management tools.

• Skills in creating test plans and regression suites.

• Experience in end-to-end WMS workflow testing.

• Knowledge of multi-tenant application testing.

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps and Git.

• Competence in risk-based testing and prioritization.
