Quality Assurance Tester II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +21 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement detailed test plans and test cases for new functionalities and system improvements.

• Oversee regression testing efforts throughout various releases.

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and address design challenges.

• Record and manage comprehensive defect reports, including steps for reproduction and severity evaluations.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

• Sustain and improve automated UI and API test suites.

• Evaluate test outcomes and deliver actionable insights to development teams.

• Contribute to the documentation of QA processes and standards.

• Guide junior QA testers and assist in their professional growth.

• Ensure that software releases adhere to business and technical specifications, are free of defects, and are prepared for production deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in software QA testing.

• Preferred experience in the healthcare or financial services sectors.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams.

• Practical experience with front-end test automation tools and frameworks; Playwright is preferred.

• Hands-on experience in back-end API and database testing.

• Experience with load testing tools; JMeter is preferred.

• Proficient in testing mobile applications using tools such as LambdaTest.

• Strong SQL skills.

• Experience with relational databases.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
