This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Lead software quality assurance efforts across client projects
• Collaborate with development and business teams to grasp application requirements and enhance testing strategies
• Design, create, and implement both manual and automated test cases
• Conduct functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
• Verify application functionality against business and technical specifications
• Clearly document defects and track them until resolution
• Support traceability among requirements, test cases, defects, and testing outcomes
• Maintain test plans, scripts, results, and status reports
• Engage in sprint planning and participate in Agile ceremonies
• Assist with automated and continuous testing practices
• Enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools
• Ensure applications adhere to performance, usability, accessibility, and quality standards
• Contribute to collaborative project delivery and client satisfaction
• U.S. Citizenship or authorization to work in the United States with the capability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• At least three (3) years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Proficiency in developing and executing test cases and test scripts
• Experience in functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing
• Skilled in creating, documenting, and tracking software defects until resolution
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and testing methodologies
• Experience utilizing test automation tools and frameworks
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Background in a consulting or client-facing position
• Experience supporting federal government technology modernization projects
• Knowledge in performance and load testing
• Experience testing financial management, budgeting, acquisition, procurement, or workflow management solutions
• Familiarity with Appian applications or other low-code platforms
• Understanding of accessibility compliance requirements, including Section 508
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
