Quality Assurance Specialist – Aging & Disabilities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Conduct quality assurance activities to monitor the satisfaction levels of individuals receiving IDD services in Sedgwick County.

• Engage with affiliates and consumers within the community.

• Oversee internal QA data management.

• Record outcomes from satisfaction surveys conducted during annual functional assessments.

• Select, assign, and oversee deadlines for quarterly reviews within the local Quality Assurance Committee.

• Document committee scoring data and generate trend reports.

• Input critical incidents into the Quality Consult database.

• Prepare quarterly trend reports based on critical incident documentation.

• Monitor mandatory training and create membership badges for the committee.

• Conduct site visits for Community Service Providers and residential locations.

• Document and report findings from site visits.

• Assess instances of service dissatisfaction and communicate findings to the QA team.

• Report quality assurance issues to the designated QA team member.

• Monitor service expectations and ensure contract compliance at affiliate sites.

• Manage user information in Relias Learning and track active users within the online training system.

• Oversee the compliance hotline.

• Collaborate with affiliates concerning KDADS background checks and maintain internal resources.

• Perform other duties related to contract compliance as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of six (6) months of experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

• A valid Kansas driver’s license with no restrictions.

• Current proof of automobile insurance.

• Relevant knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.

• Must pass criminal and abuse/neglect registry background checks.

• A Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field is preferred.
