Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and sustain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and/or backend systems.

• Conduct both manual and, when suitable, automated functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

• Detect edge cases, usability challenges, and defects through comprehensive testing.

• Test from the perspectives of end-users, QA engineers, and product owners.

• Clearly document defects to enable developers to replicate and address them effectively.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers throughout sprint and release phases.

• Champion quality from requirement gathering through to post-release monitoring.

• Manage the complete testing process for assigned features.

• Ensure that each release adheres to high-quality standards.

• Suggest enhancements to QA processes, testing methodologies, and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of practical QA experience.

• Solid understanding of software testing, test case development, and defect management.

• Experience in Agile development settings.

• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Familiarity with QA tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to document bugs effectively, collaborate with developers, and convey findings clearly.

• Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright (preferred).

• Knowledge of API testing tools, such as Postman (preferred).

• Experience in a startup or fast-paced product environment (preferred).

• English proficiency rating/CEFR level must be included in the application form.
