Quality Assurance Manager – Regional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain documentation for the site Quality Management System, which includes procedures, work instructions, and visual aids.

• Provide recommendations on procedures and standards to uphold process quality.

• Assist with client-specific and relevant QMS requirements.

• Coordinate the requirements for the 5 Star Site Certification Program.

• Oversee Quality & Training requirements.

• Create and maintain HACCP programs when applicable to support the Food Safety Policy and Food Defense Plan.

• Ensure the site adheres to applicable GMP standards and FDA regulations.

• Establish and uphold quality standards for essential operational functions.

• Train site management and staff on the components and requirements of the QMS.

• Lead initiatives in response to client complaints and internal errors, including conducting root-cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive measures.

• Act as the main point of contact for both external and internal audits, and formulate resulting action plans.

• Provide assistance with recalls, hold notifications, and stop-shipments.

• Compile and submit reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

• Develop and oversee quality-related KPIs and metrics.

• Conduct or engage in necessary quality meetings.

• Oversee the site Training Program and manage training documentation.

• Execute tasks assigned by the site General Manager to ensure client satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is required.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within a medium to large warehouse is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Quality Manager is required.

• Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic GMP is necessary.

• Preferred knowledge of ISO, HACCP, 21CFR, FDA, and SQF standards.

• Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
