Quality Assurance Manager, Freelancer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and uphold the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).

• Ensure adherence to relevant quality standards, regulations, and customer demands.

• Establish and track quality goals, KPIs, and performance metrics.

• Lead both internal and external audits and manage corrective and preventive actions.

• Recognize quality risks and apply suitable mitigation strategies.

• Examine quality concerns, customer complaints, and non-conformities, ensuring thorough root-cause analysis.

• Formulate and execute corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Propel continuous improvement initiatives across processes and operations.

• Collaborate closely with all other departments.

• Offer guidance, training, and support to employees on quality-related matters.

• Compile quality reports and present pertinent findings and enhancement measures to management.

• Ensure meticulous maintenance of quality documentation and records.

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Several years of professional experience in quality management, quality assurance, or a similar role.

• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and applicable quality standards.

• Experience with audits, root-cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement techniques.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating across departments.

• Structured, proactive, and results-driven work approach.

• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

• Proficient command of English.

• German language skills are advantageous.

• Familiarity with relevant standards is a plus.
