This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee quality assurance and auditing activities within Bula’s regulatory database, production workflows, client reports, jurisdiction spot checks, and various quality assessments.
• Detect errors, trends, compliance risks, and potential process pitfalls.
• Evaluate audit results and persistent quality challenges.
• Record trends in Jira and suggest corrective measures.
• Assist in implementing process enhancements to bolster consistency, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Take ownership of and continuously refine quality-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Bula’s FAQ and Collaborative Practice Agreement (CPA) processes.
• Carry out quality control, annual reviews, publishing tasks, and regulatory research for new or revised client content.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop direct reports in the Legislative Information Specialist role.
• Perform regular check-ins, oversee workflows, conduct accuracy reviews, and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with Bula leadership and cross-functional teams on client onboarding, database upkeep, quality concerns, process enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance, quality auditing, process enhancement, operations, regulatory information, database/content quality, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in executing quality audits, identifying process deficiencies or error patterns, conducting root cause analyses, and transforming findings into actionable process improvements.
• Familiarity with detailed regulatory, legal, healthcare, compliance, or other information requiring high levels of accuracy.
• Experience in leading or managing teams.
• Strong analytical judgment coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Capacity to research complex inquiries, juggle multiple priorities, and maintain clear documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback, collaborate across teams, and actively participate in leadership discussions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Information Management, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with Jira or a similar workflow/issue-tracking system, Microsoft Office Suite, regulatory databases, quality auditing, root cause analysis, continuous improvement methodologies, SOPs, project plans, and quality documentation; expertise in every listed tool or methodology is not required.
• Practical experience in quality assurance or auditing, proven capability in process improvement, and proficiency in leading teams within an accuracy-sensitive operational setting.
• Significant ownership of the quality function with a direct impact on the accuracy and reliability of Bula’s regulatory information.
