Quality Assurance Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Plan, develop, and execute departmental Quality Assurance programs, policies, and procedures.

• Lead QA operations by assessing processes, pinpointing gaps, and suggesting improvements.

• Oversee and manage the Quality Control Program.

• Perform internal audits and inspections, recommending corrective and preventive actions.

• Collaborate with operations, IT, and compliance teams to cultivate a culture of quality.

• Implement performance measurement tools and methodologies, utilizing metrics to identify trends and drive enhancements.

• Manage quality-related training and development for team members.

• Keep abreast of industry best practices, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to enhance product and service delivery.

• Act as the DHS QA Officer.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6 years of experience in PERSEC (Personnel Security) and/or BI (Background Investigation) with a BS/BA degree.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Possession of a favorable T5 (Tier 5) investigation clearance or equivalent.

• Extensive knowledge of BI policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

• Solid background in Project and Process Management, with a proven record of leading successful initiatives.

• Skilled in utilizing performance metrics for operational performance and trend analysis.

• Familiarity with competitive landscapes, best practices, products, systems, and analytics.

• Experience in implementing the DHS Quality Contact Program and ensuring compliance with standards and requirements.

• Proficient in conducting and managing a two-tier ROI review process.

• Capability to administer and oversee a department-wide Quality Control Program.
