This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with product, development, and IT teams to gather hardware and software requirements, user stories, and criteria for acceptance.
• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for hardware, software, and integrated systems.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
• Carry out functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing for the ServiceNow software asset management functionality.
• Identify, analyze, document, and manage defects throughout their lifecycle.
• Ensure software solutions comply with performance, security, and usability standards.
• Oversee testing for ServiceNow SAM Pro, including software discovery, reconciliation, license compliance, optimization recommendations, entitlement management, contract tracking, and financial aspects.
• Validate the accuracy of software usage data and reporting capabilities.
• Utilize Jira or ServiceNow ITSM to log, track, and manage issues.
• Create test reports that detail test progress, defect status, and product quality.
• Contribute to the development of automated test scripts and frameworks for both hardware and software.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field being equivalent to 5 years of experience.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance or Software/Hardware Testing roles.
• Practical experience in testing both hardware and software systems.
• A minimum of 2 years of focused testing experience on the ServiceNow platform.
• Proven experience testing ServiceNow Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro).
• Strong grasp of IT Asset Management principles and best practices.
• Expertise in functional, non-functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing methodologies.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Proficient in using Jira or ServiceNow ITSM.
• Desired ServiceNow certifications include CIS-SAM and CSA.
• ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as Python, Selenium, Robot Framework, and Postman/Newman is desired.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell is preferred.
• Understanding of database concepts and SQL for data validation is desired.
• Previous experience in government contracting is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
