Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold the Quality Assurance Plan alongside QA procedures.

• Evaluate deliverables, code, and documentation to ensure adherence to standards and requirements.

• Organize and oversee functional, regression, and system testing.

• Craft test cases and develop automated tests whenever feasible.

• Monitor defects and quality metrics, providing trend reports.

• Perform process audits and suggest corrective measures.

• Guide and mentor testers and QA personnel.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.

• Over 4 years of experience in software quality assurance.

• Proven experience in formulating QA plans, test strategies, and test cases.

• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM, or Azure DevOps.

• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

• Proficiency in utilizing common office equipment, including computers, phones, scanners, and printers.

• ISTQB or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) certification is preferred.

• Experience with CMMI or ISO quality frameworks is preferred.

• Prior experience supporting federal government contracts is preferred.
