Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Ensure the quality of developed products, features, bugs, and enhancements.

• Create and implement both manual and automated testing for web and Windows applications.

• Design and develop test cases for front-end interfaces, underlying APIs, and backend systems, with a focus on JavaScript, ReactJS, and/or SQL.

• Address database implications, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, bug retesting, and usability prior to implementation.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, the Delivery Director, and team members to establish automation processes and strategies.

• Identify, analyze, and document issues related to program functionality, output, online screens, or content.

• Plan testing schedules or strategies based on project scope and delivery timelines.

• Engage in product design reviews and offer insights on functional requirements, product designs, timelines, and potential challenges.

• Promptly report reproducible bugs to the development team.

• Draft test cases for new products and features.

• Review and evaluate product requirements.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IS, IT, or a related field.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of working independently and developing solutions to challenges.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience collaborating with peers and senior executives.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Desired English Level: CEF C2, TOEIC 915, or TOEFL 82.5.

• Experience in the FinTech industry is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in similar positions.

• Outstanding communication abilities.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Analytical mindset and proficient problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in SQL Server is essential.

• Familiarity with AWS (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Lambda, S3, among others) is advantageous.

• Experience with test automation tools is a plus (Selenium, Serenity, WebDriver, Cucumber, JMeter, Postman, JUnit, TestNG).

• Experience with Serverless Framework or Serverless Architectures is desirable.
