Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +12 more locations.

📋 Description

• Develop testing plans and strategies for UI, API, load, performance, integration, and regression testing for both web and client/server products.

• Manage all elements of quality assurance, including the creation of metrics, implementation of industry best practices, and development of tools and processes.

• Evaluate, recommend, and configure tools for quality assurance.

• Write and maintain automated testing suites for front-end and back-end components utilizing TestComplete and ReadyAPI.

• Set up and configure testing environments.

• Create and maintain scripts for refreshing testing environments.

• Gather metrics to assess product quality over time.

• Collaborate with the development and QA teams to enhance software quality.

• Spearhead the integration of innovative tools and methodologies to advance QA practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least three years of experience in the QA field.

• Skilled in planning, executing, and analyzing test plans.

• Background in scripting automated tests for web and desktop applications.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and QA processes.

• Over three years of experience in software development QA.

• Proficient in working with MS SQL.

• Capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences; able to create release notes and presentations/documents to support sales and marketing.

• Experienced in generating test cases for both manual and automated testing.

• Proficient in building automated test cases using TestComplete and SQL.

• Familiar with bug-tracking systems such as Jira or DevOps.

• Capable of fulfilling responsibilities with minimal supervision.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Keen interest in continuously enhancing team practices and processes.

• Must possess a current, valid passport.

• Legally authorized to travel internationally, including passport-based visa exemptions or necessary travel visas for entry into Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.

• Preference given to candidates who can work in the EST or CST time zone.
