Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +12 more locations.

📋 Description

• Develop testing plans and strategies for UI, API, load, performance, integration, and regression testing for both web and client/server products.

• Manage quality assurance efforts, set metrics, implement industry best practices, and create tools and processes to achieve quality objectives.

• Evaluate, recommend, and configure quality assurance tools.

• Create and maintain automated test suites for both front-end and back-end components utilizing TestComplete and ReadyAPI.

• Set up and configure test environments.

• Develop and sustain scripts to refresh testing environments.

• Gather metrics to track product quality over time.

• Work collaboratively with development and QA teams to enhance software quality.

• Spearhead the integration of cutting-edge tools and methodologies to advance QA practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least three years of experience in the QA domain.

• Skilled in planning, executing, and analyzing test plans.

• Proficient in scripting automated tests for web and desktop applications.

• Strong knowledge of TestComplete, ReadyAPI, C#, and SQL.

• Familiar with AI-driven technologies, including copilots, chat-based AI assistants, and automation tools.

• Must possess a current, valid passport.

• Legally authorized to travel internationally, including passport-based visa exemption or necessary travel visas for entry into Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.

• Preference for candidates who can work in the EST or CST time zones.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and QA processes.

• 3+ years of experience in software development QA.

• Experience with MS SQL.

• Capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Familiar with test case generation for both manual and automated testing.

• Proven experience in building automated test cases using TestComplete and SQL.

• Familiarity with bug-tracking systems such as Jira or DevOps.

• Able to fulfill responsibilities without constant supervision.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Commitment to continually enhancing team practices and processes.

• Knowledge of Utility CIS.

• Experience with strategies for GitHub repositories.

• Capable of leading, delegating, and coordinating QA activities across multiple development teams.

• Competent in reading C#/SQL code and assisting developers in identifying root causes within code sections.

• Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

• Familiar with build automation and packaging processes.

• Informed about test automation best practices.
