This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.
• Oversee, assess, test, and recommend improvements to products to ensure they adhere to quality, functionality, and compliance standards.
• Develop and implement testing strategies, plans, suites, cases, and scripts.
• Confirm product functionality End-to-End and ensure delivered features align with requirements.
• Detect, log, and replicate defects prior to user exposure.
• Carry out End-to-End validation and User Acceptance Testing for the Advocate-facing platform and self-service module.
• Validate role-specific experiences, permissions, visibility, and workflows for Enrollment Advocates, Veterans, Case Managers, Direct Care Workers, and partner agencies (ADNAs).
• Validate the VDC service lifecycle: onboarding, caregiver engagement, time submission and approval, payroll, and reporting.
• Verify eligibility, service authorizations, budget calculations, timesheet capture and approval, payroll processing, reporting, boundary conditions, rounding, retroactive corrections, and error-state handling.
• Test the self-service module on mobile devices, low-bandwidth connections, and assistive technology.
• Support accessibility validation per WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Review design specifications, wireframes, prototypes, and project/product parameters.
• Execute testing and analysis against user requirements, Business Requirements Documents, Project Charters, and established guidelines.
• Assist in requirements gathering and convert business needs into testable acceptance criteria.
• Provide documentation on testing scope/overview, test plans, results, and related tickets.
• Maintain records of test coverage, results, and decisions for audit readiness and compliance traceability, including HIPAA and VA program requirements.
• Identify, log, and recreate error codes, bugs, and defects; communicate findings to Product Management and/or Engineering.
• Address QA/UAT and Production issues, replicate defects, update tickets, and track initiative status.
• Develop best practices, processes, and procedures for quality inspection and reporting.
• Gather, analyze, and convey quality data.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Design, Engineering, Operations, Leadership, stakeholders, and end users.
• Manage multiple initiatives, prioritize features, define testing and analysis requirements, create documentation and process flows, and ensure timely End-to-End testing delivery.
• Support Product Management leadership with QA/UAT operations, training, and development initiatives as necessary.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Product Officer and/or BeneLynk leadership.
• 2–4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and/or User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including leading product testing and analysis across various QA and/or UAT initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile business/software development lifecycle processes and methodologies.
• Knowledge of SCRUM fundamentals, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Experience conducting End-to-End testing across multiple applications.
• Proficiency in developing test plans, test scripts, and coverage matrices.
• Capability to create test plans, suites, and cases based on project/product specifications and/or verbal communications.
• Experience in generating written QA/UAT test reports detailing progress, status, completion, defects, and risks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in reasoning through complex conditional business rules and identifying edge cases.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Composed under pressure, proactive and self-motivated, with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to act as a liaison among developers, designers, product managers, and operations.
• Experience in presenting information to teams, stakeholders, and/or executives.
• Proficient in the MSFT Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and/or related software.
• Understanding of QA/UAT operations and their correlation with product design, development, and delivery processes.
• Associate degree in a related field is required.
• Stable internet connection is necessary.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
• Capability to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• E-Verify work authorization verification is applicable.
