Senior Manual QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing for web and mobile applications.

• Develop and uphold testing documentation, which includes checklists and test cases.

• Estimate the time required for testing activities.

• Execute functional, cross-platform, UI/responsive design, and regression testing.

• Record and manage defect reports using Jira.

• Analyze and interpret business requirements alongside product owners.

• Communicate QA risks that may impact feature delivery.

• Present test execution outcomes to stakeholders.

• Assist in issue investigations, including production Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

• Triage automated test runs.

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, customer support representatives, and AQA engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software QA.

• Proven experience in testing web and mobile applications, including end-to-end and UI testing.

• In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong understanding of test design techniques.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, client-server architecture, APIs, and JavaScript.

• Proficiency in SQL for testing purposes is advantageous.

• Upper-intermediate proficiency in English.

• Experience in analyzing automated test run outcomes in collaboration with AQA.

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools/assistants in daily QA workflows is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
