Software QA Tester – Automation Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create, implement, and sustain test plans, test cases, and regression test suites.

• Conduct exploratory, functional, regression, integration, and API testing across various products and services.

• Identify, document, prioritize, and monitor defects until they are resolved.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers during requirement refinement, sprint planning, and release validation.

• Contribute to automated testing efforts and enhance overall test coverage.

• Verify software functionality across different browsers, devices, and environments.

• Engage in root cause analysis and continuous improvement related to product quality and release processes.

• Champion quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or quality engineering.

• In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycles, and release processes.

• Experience in testing modern web applications, APIs, and integrated systems.

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and concepts of automated regression testing.

• Proficient in Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Postman, browser developer tools, and SQL.

• Knowledge of HTTP requests, REST APIs, and client/server application behavior.

• Capable of investigating issues, reproducing bugs, and effectively communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in an Agile development setting.

• Demonstrates curiosity, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to enhancing product quality.

• Experience with automated UI testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

• Background in validating payment flows, transactional systems, or third-party integrations.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment environments.
