Quality Assistant, Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Conduct audits and provide training for stands during new openings and on an annual basis thereafter

• Oversee critical stands and manage the execution of action plans

• Monitor consumer complaints and analyze non-conformities within the designated region

• Collaborate with the Continuing Education team to train managers and stand supervisors

• Regularly report on the status of action plans and pertinent updates to managers and directors

• Compile official reports and regional quality metrics for regional directors and managers

• Engage in cross-functional quality initiatives

• Act as the primary contact for multi-site managers and directors concerning operational hygiene matters

• Update and sustain quality tools, especially training materials and the Food Safety Management System (FSMS)

• Supervise laboratory and other service providers in the designated region and raise alerts as needed to ensure food safety

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in General Biology, Quality Management, or Food Microbiology

• At least one year of experience in a quality-related domain, including operational quality, field auditing, or training

• Experience in audit training

• Skills in monitoring action plans and facilitating cross-functional communication

• Understanding of quality and food safety management as well as good manufacturing practices (GMP)

• Knowledge and expertise in fish-based raw materials

• Ability to offer advice and contribute to innovation and efficiency

• Proactive and self-driven attitude

• Strong analytical and synthesis abilities

• Practical approach and adaptability

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Valid Category B driving license is mandatory

• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region, with occasional trips throughout France
