Quality and Food Safety Business Process Integration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Q&FS business process integration workstream, which includes project planning, tracking milestones, managing risks, and reporting on status.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that integration activities are aligned and executed in a timely manner.

• Prepare and present regular updates to the Integration Lead.

• Analyze current-state processes for both businesses and design future-state harmonized processes that align with Mars' Digital Transformation and global Q&FS standards.

• Make decisions regarding the harmonization of key digital systems between new and legacy businesses.

• Ensure comprehensive documentation and training materials are created for newly integrated processes.

• Align and enhance the integration playbook.

• Act as the subject matter expert for the integration of digital systems and technical Q&FS processes.

• Facilitate the integration of Mars and Kellanova across essential business processes, from raw material acceptance to finished product verification.

• Collaborate with adjacent Quality and functional teams such as Supply Chain and Commercial.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Engineering, or a related technical field, along with 5 years of relevant experience in complex business settings.

• Experience in Q&FS.

• Strong understanding of Q&FS digital systems.

• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Proficiency in English.

• Solid understanding of business processes and change management.

• Excellent presentation abilities.

• A decade of experience in various quality and food safety-related areas, such as raw materials, distribution, and manufacturing, or internships in quality and food safety within a food manufacturing environment (preferred).

• Relevant certifications, such as project management PMP, facilitation, or managing successful programs (preferred).
