QHSE Manager – Fire, Air, Asbestos

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Promote a constructive and effective QHSE culture throughout the Fire, Air & Asbestos Division.

• Mentor and assist operational leaders in taking ownership of QHSE performance.

• Oversee internal and external audits, incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions.

• Develop and enhance QHSE policies, procedures, management systems, and safe work practices.

• Offer practical QHSE guidance to operational team members.

• Aid in the mobilization of new contracts, business transformation projects, and integration of acquired companies.

• Create KPI dashboards and performance reports.

• Foster continuous improvement, standardization, and right-first-time delivery through audits, investigations, and performance data.

• Provide QHSE coaching and training.

• Act as HSL's representative during customer audits, regulatory inspections, and external assessments.

• Cultivate collaborative relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and regulators.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated QHSE leadership experience in engineering, compliance, fire, air, asbestos, or a similarly regulated field.

• NEBOSH Certificate is mandatory.

• Comprehensive understanding of UK health and safety regulations, auditing, investigations, and ISO management systems.

• Practical and visible leadership style with the capability to influence, mentor, and challenge at all organizational levels.

• Proficiency in transforming performance data into priorities, actions, and quantifiable improvements.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Highly organized approach to managing operational priorities, improvement initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.

• Valid UK driving license.

• Willingness to travel nationally as needed.

• NEBOSH Diploma, Lead Auditor qualification, BOHS P402, BOHS P405, or Certificate of Competence in Asbestos (CoCA) is a plus.

• A DBS check may be necessary depending on the tasks performed.
